The pins on the back of the ALU-CARHOST are identically numbered to the ones on the DH100ix, if you need to build a cable it need to link pin 1 to 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3 etc. Take GREAT care if you buy an 8 pin cable as they a) often mirror the pins in an unuseful way, and b) have TINY cables in them for carrying MIDI not the couple amps needed to spin up the disk in the DMP3A. I build my own with 5A cable for the power and grounds and high quality speaker wire for the audio signal and data lines. This was VASTLY overkill, but the best wiring I could get on short notice as I desperately tried to get this working on my week off from work :P
